Tomsyck > This is an old postcard showing Fuesilierkaserne, Kerner street 65, in Heilbronn, Germany. (between Bismarck & Karl street) Construction began in 1880 and in 1883 a part of the 4th Wuerttembergischen Infantry regiment 122 was stationed there. In 1921 they disbanded the Garnison Heilbronn. Then in 1934 soldiers of the German Army (Wehrmacht) were stationed there and they renamed it to Moltkekaserne. Then it was renamed to Frankenhof in 1948, and it was torn down in 1956 (too bad, it looks like a nice building). Tell me if you have any pictures of the Kaserne.
