A rare collection of old postcards and original photographs of Schlieffen Kaserne and Priesterwald Kaserne in Heilbronn, Germany - where the two Kaserne were merged to form Wharton Barracks after WWII.
The entrance to Priesterwald Kaserne, which was later the secondary gate to Wharton Barracks. (e.g. used when the 237th went to the field) I believe the 2 buildings on the right are still standing today and can be seen on google earth & maps. I bought this postcard in eBay in March 2008, it is from 1942.
