Tomsyck > I believe these two buildings still stand today in the Schwabenhof Business Park in Heilbronn.

Tomsyck > Various shots from Priesterwald Kaserne in Heilbronn, which was merged with Schlieffen Kaserne after WWII to form Wharton Barracks. The 237th Engineer Battalion was housed in most of these buildings.

Tomsyck > This is what Heilbronn looked like on 4 Dec 1944 after the allied bombing raid. The story says that the bombing raid's goal was the industrial city of Stuttgart (just south of Heilbronn) but Stuttgart turned off the lights so the bombers hit Heilbronn instead (Heilbronn did not turn off the lights).

Tomsyck > I bought this original WWII photo in eBay in July 2007, taken by a photographer who worked for the Spezialhaus Film & Foto in Heilbronn. The photo paper is from AgfaBrovira. The kaserne is either Schlieffen or Priesterwald. (if you know, please let me know).
